Susan spent many years living in Schaumburg enjoying the local festivals and farmers markets with her friends. During these last years, she became friends with the other residents of Oakbrook Care Nursing home, tooling around in her electric wheelchair, participating in activities, reading the TV guide to everyone, and sharing her abundant treats. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and cherished memories.

  1. In 1966, We had a couple great trips together. As 20 year olds we really enjoyed Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Oh the stories I could tell!
Then in August we went to Jamaica and stayed at the Playboy Club. We did all the touristy stuff like river rafting and climbed Dunn’s river falls. At Duty Free, Sue bought a movie camera which never worked and I bought 8 place settings of Wedgewood which I’ve hardly used. I came back home broke, but we did have some good adventures!
